We have gone too far as a country and a society when our police shut down childhood Lemonade Stands in the name of code violations.

When police shut down kids Lemonade Stands in front yards of America, they shut down the heart of America.

Citations given to kids for selling lemonade is too much intrusion into our lives and the lives of our children. When we become afraid of our own government and police because of oppressive laws that take away our freedom and our way of life, I say it’s time to

Stand Up for the lemonade Stands

And put up your crosses too, for those offended few, who wish to take away from all. Order a hamburger and a side of fries, screw in the light bulb that suits you, not them. Drive the car you want, not the puny pathetic cars they tell you to drive. Pray outside, in public if you want to and talk in un politically correct English. Go to the doctor of your choice and get the procedure he sees fit, not some government committee.

Dont let them take away our way of life, our freedoms. Stop oppressive governments that destroy rights and make our life burdonsome and hard. That make us afraid to say what is true common sense .

Stop the EPA from taking away farm land and gives a tiny fish more rights than thousands of farmers and farmers families who grow our food. Take back the right to work in our own oil fields and drill our own oil instead of buying from countries that wish us harm.

Take a stand now before it gets out of hand. Before it goes too far down a path to return..Take a Stand before we lose our childrens innocence and dreams of a lemonade stand on a beautiful Saturday morning in their own front yard.

Fresh Lemonade for All !!

I sat perplexed recently at an approval rating chart of the Obama administration. Approve of What. Name one thing One that deserves an approval. The war on terror. No. The economy, Hell no. The debt. Uh no. Has the environment improved. The oil spill is in months 2 with no action from the democrats. Double no. Race relations. Can I say Arizona. Is America more respected in the world. Ask our allies Isreal and Britian who are shocked and offended and our enemies who are laughing at us. Is business better off ? Well only if you are on Obama’s list of backdoor buddies on the recieving end of stimulus boocko bucks. Otherwise your out of luck, swimming in taxes, federal mandates, red tape, healthcare you can’t afford and a constant attack as the bad business meanies.

Government has grown, debt has grown, fear has grown. While liberties have shrunk, money is dissappearing, business is folding, jobs are declining. Taxes are up. Revenue is down. Welfare and government dependence is at an all time high while independence and prosperity is at an all time low.

This is what the Democrats approve of ? If this is truly what they approve of then I think it is safe to say they are wrong. There are only 2 reasons a person can say they approve of Obama and the Democrat controlled government. They want so badly to believe after long years of believeing in these bad policies that they are right. It is called Denial. The other reason is they simply are not paying attention. Perhaps they have a government job, their salary is not changed, their benefits have not changed. It’s all good according to them. They are protected in the government circle of security. Or perhaps they are on the recieving end of handouts and things are good. For now.

It is time for the Democrates to face facts. Their policies of socialism do not work. They have become addicted to activism and have lost site of the real goal. A better America. A better way of life. Government is not nicer. It is not cost effective. Government limits choice, limits freedom and lacks compassion. Government is corrupt and is without consequences. If a company treats us poorly, does not give the service we want, we change companies, immediatly. Government covers up and politicians are not held accountable especially if they are democrats because the media protects them. They feed eachother just like the unions who exthort money from their members and use it without accountability to elect Democrats who in turn draft laws which gain the unions power.

It is time for Democrats to make a choice. A choice of party or a choice for their country. Democrats must stand up against the policies of this administration. They must take a stand for principals or forever be the party of hypacrites. No longer can they hide behind pointing fingers and shouts of how much they care. They have turned a cold shoulder on the people of this county who are suffering. The people in need of jobs. They have ignored people gathered in the streets to cry for freedom from their policies of government control and heavy handidness. They have favored illegal entrants and turned on their own citizens. They have divided and enouraged heartless actions on a state protecting itself from crime and drug trafficiking. They have watched with hands behind their backs as oil spills in the ocean and poisons our lands. No outcry was heard. The answer was to turn off jobs with a moratorium on drilling. The only solution the democrats came up wtih. Tax it. Cap & Trade. Where are all the Green loving Democrats while the oil spills and oozes poison. Too busy shutting off water to farmers in California because of a smelt fish. Where are all the Celebrities crying over the oil soaked birds. Hypocrites.

What do they approve of ? I want to know.

I want my country back.

I know that we have sat on the sidelines for too long,
Watching in unbelief as values erode. It started out small. Little things like what was allowed in schools. Discipline was stripped away from our teachers and principals and soon as parents we were told we were wrong to discipline.
I noticed sex was creeping into our living room t.v. earlier and earlier. Then it was homosexual sex that our kids were being exposed to. Brittney kissed Madonna prime time and girls all over the country thought that was the cool thing to do. Now we have girls pulling up their tops for cameras. Girls having plastic surgery before they are 18.
Boys who are feminized and girls are masculinized
Boys are wearing make up and girls are kicking A__.

We are told that crosses are offensive and uttering the word God in school is OMG! So offensive. In a few short years
We have a country in deep trouble. Most of our kids are taking drugs. Whether we know it or not or admit it or not.
They have no respect for parents, teachers, law or anything else. Why would they. Have we shown them anything different.
I want my country back..
Where people were married and walked their kids to school with paper bag lunches. Where moms didn’t have fake breasts and kids didn’t have 2 dads. Mom knew how to bake cookies and didn’t have a new boyfriend every year.
I want my county back
When we didn’t need 3,000 page laws written by lawyers and
Politicians trying to make a name or a buck who claim they want to keep us safe when really they want to give us tickets and fines and fill up their wallets and votes.

I remember a time when kids roamed free in a city because if anyone dared hurt or be strange with a kid they wouldn’t live to see another day. Now we slap them in rehab with
A shrink and let them back on the street

What we need are real people who are not afraid to say it like it is. People who remember good from bad, wrong from right. People who have a little shame now and then.

I want my country back.
A country with jobs. That honors success. That rewards
Hard work at any level. Without jealousy and hatred perpetuated by government so we can all feel better when we get those government handouts. No I want to work and be successful. I want to be at the top
But if I’m not still have the grace and integrity to say I gave it my best shot and it was my doing. Not the glass ceiling or discrimination or my neighbor who drives a better car.
God Bless those who get there.
What I miss most about my country is common decency.
Common sense. Honesty in ourselves without fear of appearing politically correct. Laws that make sense not money. People that have pride in themselves, how they dress, how they act and what they say. Nice people.
That’s what I miss. That’s what I want back.. LM

Ask yourself , How far will a Democrat go to turn a very bad policy and hostile takeover of private industry into a positive. Below is how Senator Boxer explains the “good news” of a hostile takeover of the entire student loan program. A bill attached to no less than the Healthcare Reform bill without so much as a whisper of debate. With the stroke of a pen and a House of corrupt congressmen the private student loan program is gone.

Boxer gleefully sends an email to her constituents:

“I am pleased to tell you about a new law that will make college more affordable for millions of students.

The Student Aid and Financial Responsibility Act (SAFRA) mandates that all new federal student loans starting in 2010 will originate through a Direct Loan program instead of through taxpayer-subsidized lenders.

SAFRA will generate $61 billion in savings over the next ten years that will be used to increase Pell Grant scholarships, keep interest rates on federal loans affordable, support minority-serving institutions, make major new investments in community colleges, and reduce the federal deficit.

I am so pleased that this vital legislation has been passed by Congress and signed into law by President Obama. You can count on me to keep working to make college more affordable for American students and their families.”

Lets look at this sentence. The Student Aid and Financial Responsibility Act (SAFRA) mandates that all new federal student loans starting in 2010 will originate through a Direct Loan program instead of through taxpayer-subsidized lenders.

The Federal Government under Democrat control is Mandating your life. Telling you what you will do. All new student loans. Your choice has been ripped out from under you and from now on Pelosi, Obama, and some group of politicians will now decide everything about your education. If they control the money they control your education. Direct Loan program this is a cute name for the Federal Government run loan program. Clever the words chosen to depict private industry such as a bank as a taxpayer-subsidized lender. I did not hear anything from Ms. Boxer about the thousands of people being laid off from the ” taxpayer subsidized lender” (the Banks). Being replaced by more government jobs.

And the coup de gra support minority-serving institutions.

Who gets the money will now be dictated not by who wants and needs a college degree but by the color of your skin and your minority status. Just when America was getting beyond race and moving forward to a non discriminating country we are thrust back into it, not by Republicans who are moving past race and into merit. Believing in earning through effort where race is not the factor. But by the democrats continuing their discrimination rant and pushing it upon the American public in hopes of gaining brownie points for their constituents. However the smoke is wearing thin and minorities are growing tired of being victims and ready to claim effort and pride as their motto.

It is becoming more and more difficult to hide the fact that minority based hiring and preferences in student loans, grants, and public hiring practices is founded in Racism. It is also clear there is a concerted effort for the most hostile American takeover of private industry ever put upon the USA is now well under way.

The Teaparty movement has arrived. And the proof is in the Liberal reaction we have just witnessed. When the Democrats perceive a threat to themselves and their ugly policies they can always be counted on to pull out the tried and overused Race Card. The pointy fingers of the left have come out and should be a grand compliment to all the Teaparties around the Nation. The more they accuse rather than defend policy the more you should congratulate yourself. Because it clearly offers proof of their failure. They cannot defend the Bill so attack any person opposed to it.

Unable to defend bad policy they condemn and slander. Not just the Tea Party groups but all who stand in thier way and dare to speak a different opinion. Liberals have played this strategy over and over and over again. They cannot defend a broken budget. They cannot defend reckless spending with no results, they cannot defend government takeover of private industry, nor can they defend the corruption that permeates the Democratic party, the payoffs, the abuse of power, the lies told in order to pass their unpopular bills. They have nothing real to stand on. Every corner of this great nation is failing under the liberal left control.

Democrat policies are not only bad economics but adjunct failures and are vastly unpopular. This liberal administration is not concerned with the people of this country. They are on a vendetta against the very foundation on which we stand. Our personal freedom and wealth. Liberals conclude they do not like what the people decide, so they will decide for you.

Teaparties have the truth behind them. They have shown knowledge instead of blind emotional rhetoric. Sometimes understanding more about bills than the congressmen themselves. The Constitution of the United States of America has served us well. It has a solid proven track record of success. The liberal agenda policies have a proven track record of failure. Socialism has never worked for the people Ever. It is not working now.

No matter the lies thrown to cover inadequate governing, the race card they pull out year after year, the phony act of caring about the poor people of this country. They know, just as we do, that the policies they are putting upon the people are making them poorer by the minute.

The GOP together with the Teaparty movement has a tall order in front of them. Organization and leadership is essential. Without organized effort they risk falling to chaos. So how does the movement gain power and momentum? What is next.
Just keep moving forward and upward. Reach new heights, gather momentum, have vision and direction of purpose. It is not only to gather and show numbers but to lobby legislators, enact laws, encourage and support conservative candidates, and to change the tide of bad government that has led America down the wrong path. The path of socialism, control, and tying the hands of prosperity.

TeaParty members and supporters take heart. You will persevere and march on with heads held high with a knowledge that is solid, built on strength of beliefs and grounded in truth. Believing in power of the people not over the people. Believing that achievement should be rewarded out of our own efforts and struggles and not called greed or immoral. We have the right to work and achieve great heights for ourselves and our families without the government taking it away. We believe in the opportunity that a free society gives and that our country must be free of the chains of Socialism and corrupt abuse of power.

A little common sense would seem too much to ask from our current administration which is motivated not by making policy aimed at aiding the American People but purely political agendas. Healthcare reform has been a clear look into the politics of the left, where the reforms proposed have not aided or improved healthcare in any way shape or form. We have the baucus bill that grows the deficit by huge numbers, promises the impossible fantasy of cutting fraud and saving money, adds taxes, burdens further the struggling business and the middle class and accomplishes very very little. This is the Liberal way. Below is an excert from Sarah Palin from her facebook page. I believe this sums it up nicely.

“We don’t need subsidies or a public option. We don’t need a nationalized health care industry. We need to reduce health care costs,” Palin wrote.

“Instead of working contrary to the free market, let’s embrace the free market. Instead of going to war with certain private sector companies, let’s embrace real private-sector competition and allow consumers to purchase plans across state lines,” she added. “Instead of taxing the so-called ‘Cadillac’ plans that people get through their employers, let’s give individuals who purchase their own health care the same tax benefits we currently give employer-provided health care recipients. Instead of crippling Medicare, let’s reform it by providing recipients with vouchers so that they can purchase their own coverage.” Read Full Article

Congressmen Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Devin Nunes (R-CA) called the Patient’s Choice Act. It is directionally opposite of the plan proposed by President Obama and his cohorts. Instead of putting government in charge of the system, this plan largely removes the failed portions of government involvement, and puts each individual in charge of their own health care plan and decisions. Here are some bullet points on this plan:

The plan eliminates the employer deduction for health insurance and the system of direct payment of health costs under Medicare and Medicaid, and replaces them with a $2,300 refundable tax credit per individual which must be used for health care costs. Therefore, everyone, whether they are young, senior citizens, or indigent, will be covered under a private plan of their own choosing. And you no longer have to get the plan from your employer, but will have a number of options to keep the same plan as you move from job to job. Senior plans would be further subsidized by the Medicare system but still allowed to choose their own plan.

Currently as a Californian, you can only buy a health insurance plan approved by the state of California. Under the Patient’s Choice Act, you would be free to pick from any of the over 1,300 medical insurance plans offered around the country. State based insurance exchanges will make sure that you cannot be cancelled for illness, and that pre-existing conditions will not interfere with our choices, in the same way that fire insurance is available to those who live in high fire risk areas today.

Basically this legislation will allow unlimited contributions to a health savings account so that Americans can save for their own health care costs on a pre-tax basis.

Litigation costs are a huge driver of medical costs. This bill would replace the court system with state based dispute resolution mechanisms for most claims, thereby saving a great deal of money in the system.

Creates transparency through a public/private partnership to disclose cost, quality, and outcomes of various plans and providers.

It also instills accountability into existing federal wellness and prevention programs to encourage more disease prevention activities and thereby lower costs.

This bill will cost a grand total of $0 and will increase taxes by $0. It is revenue and cost neutral to the current system.

Click Here for the text of the legislation

President Obama’s Socialized Medicine Package

The proposals we have seen from President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and Harry Reid on healthcare reform represent some of the worst public policy I have seen in my entire public career. Socialized health care that raises taxes, rations care and increases costs isn’t what most Americans have in mind. I stand in firm opposition to the current government-run healthcare proposal and will work diligently to ensure that Americans are not saddled with a system that will ultimately reduce the quality of your healthcare, raises taxes, and hamper the relationship between doctors and their patients.

On the whole, we will have government-only medicine with the compassion of the IRS and the efficiency of the DMV. Below I have included a graph which doesn’t need any explanation, except for that this socialized health care plan will be a mess.

Here is a quick run-down of some of the most frightening provisions:

It makes it illegal to purchase your own private health insurance after the bill is enacted and will in effect, transition virtually everyone to government care within 5 years. See Section 102, on Page 16 of H.R. 3200

The bill raises taxes on “the rich” but also creates new taxes on small businesses and individuals who do not have health insurance. After the tax increase, the top tax rate for a resident of California will be over 57%, which makes it the highest income tax rate in the industrialized world (Sweden is 56%).

It will increase the overall cost of health care in the country by trillions of dollars. Even the Democrat appointed head of the Congressional Budget Office had to admit that there is no evidence that the plan will lower the cost of health care as the President has asserted.

Current estimates project that there will be nearly 5 million additional jobs that will disappear nationwide, as a result of the plan.

As many as 114 million Americans could lose their current coverage under the bill, according to non-partisan actuaries at the Lewin Group.

Doctors, hospitals, and other medical providers will be paid even less than they are currently being paid by Medicare or Medicaid, which will bankrupt many.

A government bureaucracy will determine whether you are allowed to receive treatments or medicines, and sometimes, as happens in other socialized countries, whether you are allowed to live or die.

It does not deal with the bankruptcy of the Medicare system or Social Security so those problems continue, but the taxes said to balance them will have been spent on this.

And, it will not even cover everybody with insurance, so it won’t even fix what it is supposed to fix.

Republicans, Conservatives and Independents have come along way in the last 8 months. necessity has driven people out of their slumber and naivety. After long years of believing our way of life was being protected and hoping that politicians representing us were doing the jobs they were elected to do, we have come to realize, awakened by buckets of ice cold water, that in fact there has been in Washington, more back door sleazy deals, corruption of the worst kind and a long stream of liberal agenda’s silently working full time to undermine American values. Working under the protections of covering each others backs, funding their own pet projects, lining their own pockets, getting fat from loading up laws in their favor and paying off handsomely those that do their bidding. Bullying those that don’t.

Showing clearly and even being so bold as to say it out loud. I don’t care what the people want. So complacent after years of re elections and never having to answer to the people, they work without exposure, protected by the media and the lawyers. They are a tight knit group, keeping their mouths shut and the ears closed and the cameras of the media roll only when it sheds a good light. Coming out now and then to give grand speeches about all the good they are doing. This is the world of the Democrat. The soldiers of the left always march along, never question the integrity of their leaders, ceasingly spouting even the most ridiculous, absurd, and laughable positions of their leaders. The soldiers look the other way at corruption, immorality, discrimination, abuse, and lies and spout endlessly the virtues of their great leaders.

But we are awake, most of us. We have our own cameras rolling, we have our own voices and we have found them little by little. We are coming together and we will demand of our elected officials accountability, responsibility, transparency, honesty, to uphold the constitution and protect our country. Do not give us lip service, Do not give us grand speeches that lie. Give us Liberty, opportunity, Freedom from oppressive government, Freedom from over taxation and burdens of so called shared responsibility and service to the leader. Make this a great nation again without degrading ourselves in front of other countries. Let us hold our head up high again.

We are watching. We are listening. We are voting.
